Missoula, MT -- (Sports Network) - John Bryant racked up 20 points and 13 rebounds to help the Santa Clara Broncos knock off the Montana Grizzlies by a 71-68 final in non-league play. Kevin Foster pitched in 17 points in his first career start for Santa Clara (2-4). James Rahon contributed 12 points in a reserve role for the Broncos. Anthony Johnson poured in 21 points in the loss for Montana (2-4), which got 20 points from Jordan Hasquet. Santa Clara led by 10 points with two minutes remaining in the first half, but the Broncos had their advantage cut to 36-33 at intermission. The score was tied at 57-57 with 4:38 remaining, but Bryant scored six straight points for the Broncos, who never trailed again. Santa Clara earned an 18-13 edge in points from the foul line and shot 50 percent from the floor, enabling the squad to overcome 15 turnovers.
