Fort Worth, TX -- (Sports Network) - Paul Velander scored 11 points to lead his Nebraska Cornhuskers to a 62-50 triumph over the TCU Horned Frogs in a non- conference matchup.

Steve Harley and Toney McCray both had nine points in the win for Nebraska (2-0).

Kevin Langford scored 19 points in the loss for TCU (1-3), as he finished 13- of-18 from the charity stripe.

Nebraska led 37-24 at intermission and limited the Horned Frogs to 27 percent shooting from the floor in the clash.

The Cornhuskers only committed 12 turnovers in the game and overcame a 27-16 deficit in points from the foul line.
