Lincoln, NE -- (Sports Network) - Ade Dagunduro scored with 2.7 seconds remaining in regulation, giving the Nebraska Cornhuskers a thrilling, 54-52 victory over the Creighton Bluejays in a non-league affair at the Devaney Center. Dagunduro finished with 11 points for Nebraska (5-0), while Steve Harley led the way with 18 points in the win. Kenny Lawson Jr netted 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Creighton (3-2), while Kaleb Korver and Casey Harriman chipped in nine points apiece in the loss. The Bluejays limited Nebraska to a pathetic 30.4 percent shooting effort from the field in the first half, and went into the break with a commanding, 31-18 lead. However, the Cornhuskers stormed back in the second stanza, shooting 48.1 percent from the field, en route to the thrilling two-point victory. The Cornhuskers scored 22 points off 24 Creighton turnovers, while the Bluejays tallied just six points off 16 Nebraska miscues.
