NCAA Game Summary - Lafayette At Massachusetts

Amherst, MA -- (Sports Network) - Steve Baylark ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns to lead Massachusetts over Lafayette, 35-14, in first-round action of the NCAA Division I Football Championship. The Minutemen (11-1) will next host New Hampshire next Saturday. That is a rematch of UMass' 28-20 win back on November 4. Liam Coen threw for 151 yards on 9-of-15 passing with three touchdowns for UMass, which jumped out to 21-0 lead and then cruised to the finish. Brandon London, Mike Omar and Ian Jorgensen all had touchdown catches for the Minutemen, who enter the tournament as the third seed. Brad Maurer finished 18-of-33 passes for 140 yards with two touchdowns and one pick for Lafayette (6-6), which drew within 21-14 by halftime but never got any closer.
