View MenuThe Eldorado’s Roxy restaurant is teaming up with Double Bond Winery to present a decadent five course pairing menu on Tuesday, November 27 at 5pm and 7:30pm.The five course menu with wine is $85 per person, plus tax. Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance, but there are only 100 reservations available per seating so call in soon. For reservations call 775-786-5700.The menu begins with an amuse bouche of sea salt smoked Santa Barbara uni with avocado and lemon grass gelée followed by a honey-vanilla glazed slow roasted pork belly with celery root and jasmine paired with the Double Bond 2009 Chardonnay. The second course treats guest to a slow roasted Magret duck breast with foie gras “pastrami,” hibiscus and seckel pear matched with the Double Bond 2008 Pinot Noir. The third course pairs the Double Bond 2010 Zinfandel with Merguez lamb crépinette and crispy lamb sweetbreads accompanied by orach spinach and bull’s blood beet greens followed by an intermezzo of basil sorbet with tomato granita. Next is a spiced venison Osso Buco with licorice root and roasted baby turnips with greens paired with the Double Bond 2007 Syrah. The final course matches the Phantom Rivers 2008 Eclipse with a Manjari fig “Agro-Dulce” tart enhanced with chocolate coated pomegranate and lavender mint.
