Make-A-Wish & Macy's Believe Campaign

Macy’s is once again sponsoring the “Believe” campaign to benefit Make-A-Wish. Children and people of all ages may write a letter to Santa and post it in the Macy’s Reno letterbox in the women’s/children’s store. Macy’s will donate $1—up to $1 million total—for each letter received and this allows Make-A-Wish to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. A number of organizations and schools are doing letter writing campaigns and the local chapter will grant a Carson City young lady her wish on Friday, December 14, which is National Believe Day. The campaign runs thru Dec. 24.
