Calling all cat lovers! For the third year in a row, Nevada Humane Society is hosting the Cat Convention, All Things Cats, on Saturday, February 9.If you love cats, you won’t want to miss the cat event of the year! The Cat Convention will include:

• Cat Marketplace of cat-themed art, gifts, jewelry, pottery, cat toys and more
• Over 100 adorable cats for adoption
• Renowned Hollywood animal trainer Joel Silverman, host of Dog & Cat Training with Joel Silverman, will demonstrate how to train a cat
• Cartoonist and creator of Pickles, Brian Crane, will be selling and signing his books from the Pickles Collection, featuring Muffin the cat and Roscoe the dog
• Cash bar and light refreshments

“The Cat Convention is THE event for cat lovers in Reno. Each year it gets bigger and better. If you love cats you won’t want to miss the fun!” said Bonney Brown, Executive Director of Nevada Humane Society.

Cats available for adoption will include Mini Panthers, Tiny Tigers, Supersized Cats, Older-but-Wiser and Classy and Sassy cats. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help find the best match for anyone hoping to adopt a new feline companion.
