Join us Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 PM for the All New Writing Our JourneywithGuest Speaker Camilla Downs.Starting this month, we will be serving a light dinner and providing childcare.Guest speaker Camilla Downs will share her experiences about writing her book, D iz for Different.  Camilla is an author and special needs parent mentor.  She is the mother to two wonderful children and certified as a Special Needs Life Coach.Writing Our Journey is a group designed to encourage family caregivers to express themselves through writing. Group members are invited to write and share poetry, prose, journal entries, screenplays, song lyrics or any style of writing they enjoy. Monthly themes are suggested but group members can write about any topic. Members may share their writing on the group’s website or keep it private.  Please join our February group as we support each other and hear some new writing tips from Ms. Downs.  If you would like to bring something you have written, we will have a sharing time at the end of the meeting. This is an open topic month, so you may write on any topic you choose.  If you do not want to share, but would like to just come and listen, please feel free to do that too!  This is a casual group designed to offer support to you and your family.
