First Lady Kathleen Sandoval will mark “Read Across America Day” by reading aloud to 50 second-grade students.
This event is sponsored by Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), and each participating child will receive a free book of his or her choice to take home at the end of the day. The WCSD Read & Succeed’s RIF program serves 21 sites and reaches more than 2,800 children.
