Big-Rig Crash Cleared From 101

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO -- A collision involving a big rig, a garbage truck and a two-passenger car blocked one lane of U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco for more than an hour Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicles crashed around 6:15 a.m. and left the westbound No. 4 lane blocked just south of Third Street until 7:25 a.m., CHP Officer Chris Nave said. The driver of the big rig appeared to be badly injured, Nave said.
