Police Arrest Six Juveniles In Two Robbery Incidents

VACAVILLE, Calif. -- Police arrested six juvenile suspects in Vacaville Friday night in connection with two separate strong-arm robberies.At 5 p.m., police responded to a robbery report near Lakehurst Drive and Hanover Way. The victim told police that two juveniles took two iPods and a gold pocket watch. A third person allegedly kicked the victim in the head.Police located a car matching the victim's description and detained two suspects. The stolen items were located near the site where the suspects' car was stopped.The two were taken to Solano County juvenile hall on charges of robbery and conspiracy. The third suspect was not with them, but police now know his identity.At 11:35 p.m., police responded to another robbery report near Spindrift Way and Trysail Street. The victim told police she was walking home when four teens approached her, all males between 16 and 18 years old. The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts with hoods pulled tight around their faces.The group took the victim's money and ran away on Trysail Street, towards Bowline Drive. A group of teens matching that description had tried to attack and rob another person earlier in the night, but the victim was able to run away, according to police.Officers searched the area, with the help of a nearby California Highway Patrol helicopter. One officer driving through the area with the lights turned off on his patrol car noticed saw several people running from a commercial truck into some bushes next to a house, according to police.The officer located four of the suspects and detained them until other units arrived, according to police.The victim's stolen property was recovered and she positively identified the four teens as the same ones who robbed her. All four were arrested and taken to the Solano County juvenile hall, according to police.
