SALINAS, Calif. -- Police in Salinas searched Saturday for a man who robbed a local market at gunpoint Friday evening.A man with a handgun entered the market at 154 W. Market St. at about 7:15 p.m., according to police. He took an undisclosed sum of money from an employee and fled south across West Market Street.The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a ski mask during the robbery, according to police. He is described as being about 19 or 20 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 180 pounds.
