An immigration services organization is holding a multi-lingual press conference this morning in San Jose to urge minority communities to participate in the U.S. Census and explain the process to them.

The Services, Immigration Rights and Education Network will give presentations in English, Spanish, Tagalog, Farsi and Korean, starting at about 11:30 a.m.

The organization will explain how to fill out and return Census forms, which will be mailed to homes starting today. The group wants South Bay residents to know the Census is both important and confidential.
