SAN FRANCISCO -- After two hours, San Francisco firefighters gained control over a two-alarm fire at an apartment building Friday evening, after the fire spread to three buildings and one of the rescuers was injured while fighting it.At 5:59 p.m., the fire department received reports of an apartment fire at 2560 California St., in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. Crews arrived to find that the fire had spread to two buildings.One firefighter was reported injured from a twisted knee at the scene and taken to the hospital.At least two residents were displaced and required assistance from Red Cross.
