Two people suffered gunshots wounds late Wednesday night after gunfire erupted in a parking lot near San Jose's H-P Pavilion following the "Bomb 21" concert featuring Rap stars Bow Wow and E-40.

San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten said the shooting was reported at 11:41 p.m. at West Santa Clara and Montgomery streets.

The men's wounds are not considered life-threatening. Tepoorten said one man was shot in the leg and the other in his "lower extremities."

"Some type of argument broke out," she said, "and the suspect opened fire." The area was full of people who had just attended the Bomb 21 hip-hop show, Tepoorten said.

Police are looking for one suspect, a man, but have not released a description.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about it is encouraged to call the San Jose Police Department assault unit at (408) 277-4161 or the anonymous Crime Stoppers line at (408) 947-STOP.
