RENO -- A local bar is doing its part to help a woman seeking donations to help pay for gum disease surgery.

20 year old Zoe Cuban has been diagnosed with periodontal disease, a rare infection of the gums and bone that surround the teeth. Periodontal diseases range from simple gum inflammation to serious disease that results in major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth. In the worst cases, teeth are lost. Friends say the form she has is so bad that she needs to have emergency surgery by dental specialists at Indiana University.

Cuban has been told that the medical procedure she needs will cost roughly $125,000. Friends and family are reaching out to the community for help.

The Little Waldorf will be hosting a “Spaghetti Feed” today at 5:30pm to help raise money for Zoe’s medical expenses. Tickets are being sold for $10 and include all you can eat salad, bread sticks and spaghetti.

For more information or to purchase a ticket, contact Allie Brascia at (626) 841-1755. You can also donate via pay pal by clicking here.
