The massive amount of information available to the average person increases exponentially every year. News is everywhere. RightThisMinute searches and sifts all that content and offers a new kind of interactive news and information resource for new and traditional viewers. RightThisMinute tells stories using pictures from eyewitnesses around the world--eyewitnesses with cellphones, webcams, digital cameras and Skype accounts. RTM is the the creation of a group of journalists at MagicDust Television in Phoenix, Arizona who have spent their entire lives in news, broadcast and web management. In a unique partnership among companies that normally are competitors, Cox Media Group, Raycom Media, Inc., and The E.W. Scripps Company have partnered with MagicDust in the creation and ownership of RightThisMinute. In another unique partnership, the RightThisMinute newsroom is based in part in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
