Armed robbery suspect being sought by cops

 

RENO -- Reno Police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in the Wednesday's armed robbery at an AM/ PM.

Last night at around 11:45, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the AM/PM at 6190 South Virginia Street.  Upon arrival they learned that the business had just been robbed by a lone suspect.  The suspect entered the store and pointed a dark colored handgun at the clerk.  He stole an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled north from the business.  The suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the robbery as well as sunglasses. 

The suspect is described as a male, 5’08-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white liner, blue jeans, and black and white shoes. 

Officers are still investigating if there was any link to the robbery that occurred at the same location on March 5th.

 Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
