RENO -- The man suspected of killing a juvenile and injuring another in last Friday's shooting has been arrested but police still are not done with the investigation.
Last Friday afternoon at around 2, Reno Police responded to the area of Locust St and Capital Hill Ave., on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered two victims. One of the victims, a juvenile, was deceased on scene, while the second victim was transported to an area hospital and is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Yesterday investigators arrested 27-year-old Gustavo Alvizar for his involvement in the shooting and charged him with Open Murder and Attempted Murder. Investigators are still looking for a person of interest in 20-year-old Lucas Bragg.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld due to his age (16).
