RENO -- Three men are wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a jewelry store in south Reno last week.

On March 5 at around 10:30 p.m. three suspects entered Devon’s Jewelers located at 5000 Meadowood Mall. One suspect was armed with a large knife and the other 2 suspects were armed with sledge hammers.  The suspect with the knife approached an employee and the other two suspects started to break the glass display cases.  All three suspects started taking several pieces of jewelry from the glass display cases.

The suspects fled the store on foot through the northwest doors of the mall.

The jewelry loss is undetermined at this time.

All three suspects are described as black adult males in their 20's. Suspect one is described as having short black hair, standing 5'10 tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and was armed with a knife. Suspect two stands 5'6 tall and weighs 125 lbs. He was wearing a grey face mask and dark sweatshirt. He was armed with a sledge hammer. Suspect three stands 5'11 tall with a thinn build. He was wearing a dark-colored face mask and dark-colored sweatshirt. He was armed with a sledge hammer.

Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
