RENO -- Police are seeking a suspect in connection with the strong-armed robbery of a U-Swirl in west Reno.

Earlier today at around 12:25 p.m. a suspect entered the U-Swirl.  The suspect told the clerk this was a robbery.  He threatened to shoot the clerk if he did not comply with his requests, no weapon was seen.

The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the business on foot.  He was last seen running northwest through the parking lot towards Wal-Mart.

The suspect is described as a White male in his thirties.  Approximately 5’7” tall and weighing around 180lbs.  He was wearing a black baseball cap, black sweatshirt with a zippered collar, khaki shorts, and white/black athletic shoes.
