CARSON CITY--Carson City Health and Human Services is collecting food donations for its annual Homeless Christmas.
From November 15 through December 9, donate 2 cans of food and receive a voucher for a free flu shot or nasal spray vaccine, redeemable during our regularly scheduled immunization hours on Thursdays.
Each family may earn up to 4 flu shot vouchers.
Bring your unopened cans of food to the Health Department at 900 East Long Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Flu vouchers can only be used on Thursday immunization days from 8:30−11:30 AM or 1:00−4:30 PM.
No appointment is necessary. For more information call 887-2190.
