Luncheon to honor individuals who support victims of domestic violence tomorrow

RENO -- The Committee to Aid Abused Women (CAAW), an organization for victims of domestic violence and their families, will honor the 2012 Hannah Humanitarian Award recipients on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 11:30a.m. – 1:30p.m. at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.

 

The Hannah Humanitarian Award Luncheon will honor Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Claudia King and the late Omer King for their humane and compassionate efforts to support women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. In addition, the luncheon will feature a program by Sam Nuttmann, producer and director of “Shout: The Story of Domestic Violence”. Sam will share his emotional experience of domestic violence within his own family.
