Help make Reno 'America's Most Interesting Town'

There is only one more day for locals to tell Reader's Digest what makes Reno America's Most Interesting Town.

Beginning earlier this month, locals were invited to log on to www.readersdigest.com/america to share personal stories and photos that illustrate what makes their town special.  The author of the winning story will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and their town will be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of Reader’s Digest magazine.

This is an opportunity for individuals to shine and possibly bring more national attention to The Biggest Little City.

In addition, each week a new American town will be named America’s Most Interesting Town by popular vote and will be featured on the website and in an upcoming issue of Reader’s Digest.  Locals can show their community spirit by logging on and voting for their town as many times as they like.  We encourage you to let your community know about this opportunity and start a conversation locally about what makes your hometown one-of-a-kind.

There is only one more day for locals to submit their entries.

Some of the stories Americans have shared so far include:

  • Descriptions and photos of the most scenic spots in town.
  • Famous (or infamous) historical figures from the area.
  • The people, places, and local businesses that make their town one-of-a-kind.

Visit wehearyouamerica.readersdigest.com to share personal stories and photos that illustrate what makes Reno unique.
