Miss Nevada organization to host meet and greet with titleholders, contestants in Minden

MINDEN -- The public is invited to a special meet and greet hosted by the Miss Nevada Organization this Saturday in Minden.This free event will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Minden, Nevada.Miss Nevada 2011 Alana Lee and Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen Bailey Gumm will be joined by the 12 contestants competing to become Miss Nevada 2012 and the 16 young women vying for the title of Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen for this free event.Contestants and titleholders will sign autographs and pose for pictures during the 90 minute event.“This is the first time the organization has hosted a meet and greet in Minden and we are so excited to introduce the contestants to the community,” said Amy Hacker, executive director of the Miss Nevada Organization. “This is an incredible opportunity for both our organization and the city of Minden and we look forward to this event becoming a tradition.”The contestants will be in town for a two-day orientation in preparation for the 2012 Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen competitions which will be held July 2 and 3 in Mesquite, Nev. About the Miss Nevada Organization The Miss Nevada Organization is a volunteer driven organization that organizes, executes and oversees the Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada’s Outstanding Teen competitions which are official state preliminary competitions to the Miss America and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageants.
