WINNEMUCCA — Fire officials in Winnemucca say four people were found dead after crews responded to a mobile home fire over the weekend.
The fire at the home on North Estate Road was reported around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
By the time fire crews arrived, the single-wide mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.
City Fire Chief Alan Olsen says it took firefighters about 15 minutes before crews could enter the home. Names of the deceased were not immediately released.
The site has been turned over to the Winnemucca Police Department for investigation, but officials say there is no sign of criminal activity or foul play.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
