Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation radio-a-thon going on tonight

RENO --  Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation is hosting the finale to the Elevating Life Campaign with a radio-a-thon event at Scheels today.

The event is going on today through 7 p.m. at Scheels,  1200 Scheels Boulevard, Sparks.

This year NNCCF is challenging local businesses, schools, and public figures from Senator Debbie Smith to Superman, to take flight on the Ferris Wheel at Scheels from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. to reach a personal monetary goal.

Call to make a pledge at 1-855-88N-NCCF (855-886-6223), Text NNCCF to 56512 or visit our website at www.nvchildrenscancer.org.

Since November 2012, businesses, schools, churches, organizations and individuals have been raising funds for local children with cancer and their families through the Elevating Life Campaign. The finale is a 12-hour radio-a-thon event with volunteers manning the phones while Cumulus stations broadcast the event all day.
