Reno-Tahoe Airport welcomes Veterans of Foreign Wars

RENO -- Reno-Tahoe Airport officials are inviting the public to join them and a wide array of military support groups as tjey welcome the Veterans of Foreign Wars arriving for their convention next week in Reno.

Arriving today will be Veterans, volunteers from the Civil Air Patrol, Blue Star and Gold Star Moms, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Honor Flight,
Marine Corps League, Patriot Guard Riders, and Operation Cookie Jar.

Their arrival is expected starting at 9:30 a.m. and going through 2:00 p.m. at the entrance to Baggage Claim.

Over 12,000 Veterans of Foreign Wars are flying through Reno-Tahoe International Airport this week.

In partnership with various military support groups in the community, the airport is giving them a special welcome; demonstrating their appreciation and support for their service to our country.
