SPARKS-- The Sparks Police Department will be doing road closures for the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, between 8:00am-10:30am.
Southbound Sparks Boulevard will be closed between Baring Boulevard and Legends Outlet Mall, and Vista will be an alternate route to I-80.
Drivers should expect long delays at E. Prater Way and Sparks Boulevard as runners cross the intersection.
Sparks Police are hoping to let commuters know about the delays so they can find alternate routes to avoid congestion and frustration.
The roads will open at 10:30am.
