SR 28 Public meetings

The Tahoe Transportation District is hosting four public workshops to provide information and gather questions and opinions regarding the National Scenic Byway (SR28). The workshops will be held in– Reno/Sparks, Incline Village and Carson City – to obtain significant public participation. (http://www.tahoetransportation.org)  

 

The SR 28 corridor stretches from Crystal Bay to Sand Harbor to Spooner Lake – creating a ridge-to-shoreline plan that will help keep Lake Tahoe’s waters clear, improve safety and offer convenient access to outdoor recreation.

 

Who:              

Local residents are invited to meet representatives from the Tahoe Transportation District and project partners including Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), Nevada Division of State Parks and Nevada Highway Patrol for information and refreshments.

To solicit maximum public input, attendees and no-attendees will be able to provide comments in real time via a web-based software program.
