RENO, NEV. – Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is teaming up with News Talk 780 KOH to bring community awareness and raise funds for the Veterans Guest House during the ninth annual radiothon tomorrow from 10a.m. to 4p.m.
The Veterans Guest House provides temporary housing for veterans and their families while undergoing medical treatment.
During the month of January, the Guest House had 400 room nights; the busiest January in their history as the need for their services continues to grow.
The Guest House does not receive any government funding for their day-to-day operations and rely solely on donations.
The community is invited to make a donation in-person or by calling into the radiothon at (775) 335-4621. Donations can be made inside the Atlantis in the atrium or outside at the rotunda in the west parking lot. Military vehicles will be on display outside the rotunda.
