Nationwide foreclosure settlement hits delay

Nevada’s Attorney General is looking for a better deal for the state’s struggling homeowners.

Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto is refusing to sign onto a multi-state settlement over foreclosure abuses

It would require the five largest mortgage lenders to reduce loans for borrowers in other states.

Masto says her staff is still reviewing what she calls "intricate draft settlement terms.”
