Injury accident during rush hour closes McCarran boulevard

RENO --  An accident yesterday afternoon on North Reno caused the closure of north McCarran boulevard for more than 4 hours.

Yesterday at around 4:54 pm, Reno Police Officers, REMSA and Fire Personnel responded to several reports of multiple accidents on North McCarran Boulevard between Sutro Street and Clear Acre Lane. With the assistance of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada Highway Patrol, this section of roadway was closed while the Reno Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) investigated this crash.
