Westbrook Back At Eagles Practice; Expected To Play Vs. Cowboys

Posted: 2:13 pm PST November 4, 2009

(Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook returned to practice Wednesday after missing all of last week's sessions and Sunday's game against the Giants.

The oft-injured back suffered a concussion in Week 7 against the Redskins and did not return to the field until Wednesday. He is expected to be a full participant in practice all week and will likely play in this upcoming Sunday's NFC East battle against Dallas.

Westbrook, 30, also sat out Week 3 against Kansas City with an ankle injury. He has scored two touchdowns while amassing just 197 yards on the ground and 130 through the air on 17 catches through five games this year.

In other injury news for Philadelphia, defensive end Victor Abiamiri (knee), wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee) and linebacker Chris Gocong (quadriceps, hamstring) each sat out Wednesday's practice session.
