Blue Jackets F Huselius To Miss At Least One Week

Posted: 9:51 am PST November 5, 2009

(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets placed forward Kristian Huselius on injured reserve Thursday.

The move is retroactive to November 3, the day Huselius suffered an injury at practice that will sideline him at least one week.

Huselius, whose 56 points last year ranked second on the team, has scored five goals to go with four assists in 13 games for Columbus this year.

To take his place on the roster, the club recalled forward Alexandre Picard from its AHL affiliate in Syracuse. Picard has logged five goals and four assists in 11 games with Syracuse this year.
