Raiders hire Stanford's Tarver to lead defense
The Oakland Raiders didn't look far to find a defensive coordinator, on Monday hiring Stanford's Jason Tarver, who helped shape one of the Pac-12's top defenses while serving as co-defensive coordinator and overseeing the linebackers under rookie head coach David Shaw last season.
