Expedition Man
Sponsored by FOX 11 and my21 TV, Expedition Man would like to introduce the inaugural Endurance Festival featuring Northern Nevada’s 1st Ultra Distance Triathlon. A unique course that starts swimmers at Zephyr Cove Resort in the beautiful southern part of Lake Tahoe, NV. The 112 mile bike ride will utilize a variety of Northern Nevada’s scenery including a 1,400 ft elevation drop into Carson City. The day ends with a run along the Truckee River Trail finishing at the Legends at Sparks Marina.
Triathlons are big business. The competitions are serious endeavors for elite athletes logging months of training for a distance race that includes swimming, biking and running — but also for cities and local businesses that host the events and athletes.
