(AP) - State officials say Nevada's unemployment rate ticked down to 8.7 percent in January. The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation reported Monday that the January jobless rate was down a tenth of a percentage point from the 8.8 percent it was in December. The department says Nevada saw its 37th month of year-over-year job growth, and has added nearly 61,000 new private sector jobs in the past three years.
