Explosion in Reno caused by hash oil, one victim accounted for

UPDATE: RENO, Nev. -- Reno Police have confirmed that one victim who fled the scene of the explosion this afternoon in downtown Reno is accounted for and has sought treatment at Renown Medical Center. The identity of the victim and extent of injuries are unknown at this time.

Reno Police has also confirmed that the cause of the explosion was the production of hash oil.

- There has been a possible explosion in downtown Reno of an unknown origin.

Scanner traffic indicated the blast came from a residence, 744 Moran St. The Reno Fire Dept. has confirmed that there was an explosion and says that units are still on scene. They are looking for at least one burn victim who has fled the scene. They believe he could be injured so they have notified area hospitals.
