Bird, Storm Defeat Dream

(Sports Network) - Sue Bird had 21 points and nine assists to lead the Seattle Storm to an 83-69 victory over the Atlanta Dream.

Camille Little and Yolanda Griffith added 16 points in the victory. Tanisha Wright and Swin Cash each scored 11 points for the Storm.

With the win, Seattle moves into a tie for first place with San Antonio in the Western Conference with a 19-10 record. Atlanta dropped its eighth straight game and holds a league-worst record of 3-27.

Betty Lennox scored 25 points to lead the Dream, and Iziane Castro-Marques added 12 points and six rebounds in defeat.
